What causes wallpaper mildew?

The cause of mildew on wallpaper may be one of the following or a combination of several reasons.

1. The water content of the wall is high, which is caused by no waterproof treatment or improper use of waterproof materials, or the aging effect of waterproof materials;

2. The protective materials used for wallpaper decoration are unqualified and do not have waterproof or alkali resistance;

3. In rainy days or when the air humidity is high, the starch paste material will be damp and mildewed;

4. The paste material does not have moisture-proof ability, and the drying time is too long, and it absorbs moisture during the drying process, resulting in mildew.
